Connect Your Metrics Provider ​

Flagship relies on your data to provide confidence. By connecting your metrics store, you enable AI-driven impact analysis and automated safeguards.

Supported Providers ​

Flagship supports the following major observability platforms:

  • Datadog
  • Prometheus
  • InfluxDB

Connection Setup ​

Go to Settings > Integrations > Observability to start the connection process.

Datadog ​

To connect Datadog, you will need to provide the following credentials:

  • API Key: An API key with read access.
  • Application Key: An application key.
  • Site: Your Datadog site (e.g., datadoghq.com, datadoghq.eu).

Prometheus ​

To connect a Prometheus instance:

  • Server URL: The HTTP/HTTPS endpoint of your Prometheus server (e.g., http://prometheus:9090).
  • Authentication:
    • None: If your server is publicly accessible (not recommended).
    • Basic Auth: Username and password.
    • Bearer Token: A service account token.

InfluxDB ​

To connect InfluxDB (v2):

  • URL: The URL of your InfluxDB instance.
  • Token: An API token with read permissions.
  • Organization: The name of your organization.
  • Bucket: The default bucket to query.

NOTE

Flagship only requires READ access to your metrics to analyze performance impact.
